MRI of LUMBAR PART OF SPINAL CORD
Description: Disc degeneration is moderately expressed. On the level L4-L5 there is central sequestrate hernia of intervertebral disc of large size with mild lateralization to the left. Dural sac is roughly compressed. There are cicatrical changes in the peridural area on hernia's level. On the level L5-S1 there is small size back intervertebral disc hernia slightly compressing dural sac.
Conclusion: lumbosacral osteochondrosis. Herniae of discs L4-L5, L5-S1.

MRT of LUMBAR PART OF SPINAL CORD (WITHOUT CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT)
Description: case follow-up shows expressed improvements from April 1997. Manifestations of pseudoinflammatory degeneration in L4, L5 bodies decreased. Small size Schmorl's hernia is being formed in the left sections of L5 body. Protrusion of changed as a result of degeneration disc into vertebral canal does not lead to significant dural sac compression but coarctates canals of roots from both sides. Protrusion of disc significantly decreased. Hernia became smaller and it now causes a smaller deformation of dural sac.

MRT of LUMBAR PART OF SPINAL CORD (WITHOUT CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT)
Description: Improvement from 25.02.98. Decrease of red bone marrow oedema in L4, L5 bodies. Schmorl's hernia development in L5 body does not progress. Degenerate changes in L4-L5 disc are the same. Protrusion of disc into the lumen of vertebral canal did not increase. Root canals from both sides stay slightly compressed. Disc hernia on L5-S1 level and the deformation of dural sac on this level are almost not defined.
